Join the upcoming June 7th "Celebration of Andy's Life" in a March & Rally that will commemorate what would have been his 14th birthday.
The Justice For Andy Lopez Coalition (JCAL), Andy's youth and many others in Sonoma County and beyond are a leading movement demanding Peace, Justice and Safety for ALL Children, Youth and Families in all communities alike. 13-year old Andy Lopez was shot seven times on Oct. 22, 2013 by Sonoma County Sheriff Dept. (Iraq & Afganistan war veteran) and weapons expert/trainer Deputy Erik Gelhaus as he walked along Moorland Avenue in southwest Santa Rosa with what (weapons expert) Gelhaus states he thought was a weapon. It turned out to be a toy Airsoft BB gun.

On October 22, 2013, 13-year-old Andy Lopez was walking in a field in broad daylight, in his neighborhood. He was on his way to one of his friend's homes, doing nothing criminal, doing nothing wrong, just a child, on his way to see his friend. Suddenly, with no warning, within seconds, he was ambushed and killed in cold blood by Gelhaus, a trained assassin from the Sonoma County Sheriff's Department.
