The Future of Energy is a positive film that focuses on energy solutions and the people behind the renewable energy revolution. Clearly, renewable energy is the only sustainable choice of energy for our future. The question is, can we switch to these technologies fast enough to curb the climate crisis?
Together, we believe we can!
As we speak, communities around the globe are taking action to address this crisis by implementing new forms of distributive, renewable energy that will take the place of fossil fuels. But will this technology be enough, and what role will the U.S. play in this transition? This film seeks to answer these questions by exploring the rise of the Third Industrial Revolution, the global techno-economic movement that might just hold the key to our future survival.
Our film will explore the work of American economist Jeremy Rifkin, adviser to the European Union and the leading visionary behind the Third Industrial Revolution. We will show viewers how this plan can simultaneously address the climate crisis and diverse economic and social issues. We will also examine how the implementation of these technologies and the emergence of an eco-empathic civilization mark a distinct new stage in human evolution.
