Community Jam 2014
Harvesting/Gleaning
Conference
Sat. June 7, 2014, 9 am - 4 pm
Lafayette, CA (East Bay)

The Urban Farmers, in collaboration with Village Harvest, is excited to announce the second annual "Community Jam" Northern California conference for harvesting/gleaning organizations on Saturday, June 7. Any interested organizations and individuals are welcome, from any geographic area, and with any level of experience. Last year over 50 people from 24 organizations came together to share, learn, and connect.

This year's event will be in Lafayette in the East Bay near Walnut Creek, an easy drive for most groups in the region. Registration will begin by May 9 at the new conference web site http://www.communityjam.info .

Please share your talents and time by becoming a co-organizer! We need assistance with pre-conference activities including the program, publicity, registration, sponsorship, graphic design, and the web site. Please contact Siamack (siamack [at] theurbanfarmers.org) with your questions and to volunteer in any capacity.

Tell your friends and other organizations, too. See you soon!
