Public Meeting and discussion

Donald Sterling, a racist bigot:
one bad apple or the core?

Friday, May 9, 7pm
2969 Mission St., San Francisco

Donald Sterling’s name is all over the headlines for making blatantly racist statements. He has rightly been banned from the NBA and fined for the comments. But he has a long history of vile racism and slum landlordism that has gone ignored by the wealthy owners of the NBA. Why wasn’t he fined before? What about the other forms of outright racism in professional sports? Native American and other activists have long been organizing to change the racist name of the Redskins.

Join anti-racist activists and community members for a discussion about the struggle against racism in sports and the struggle to end racism in society.

Presentación y Foro Público

Donald Sterling, un fanático racista:
una manzana podrida o el núcleo?

viernes, 9 de mayo, 7pm
2969 Calle Mission, San Francisco
