Fort Funston Clean-Up | Organized by CITIPETS and the Fort Funston Dog Walkers Coalition

When: Sat May 3rd 2014, 9:30AM

What: Dog walkers (both professional and recreational) unite to clean up the popular dog walking area, Fort Funston. This will immediately create a more pleasant walking experience at this recreation area. And it also serves to bring attention to the risk from the GGNRA that this place, beloved by dogs and their people, is under threat of losing off-leash access, in an extreme and restrictive plan to reduce dog-friendly areas in the SF Bay Area. (See http://www.saveoffleash.com/ for more info.) Call it a "protest by poop removal"!

CITIPETS (citipets.net) and the Fort Funston Dog Walkers Coalition are organizing and sponsoring this event, and will provide all the supplies you need, plus treats for you and your pets.

Just bring yourself, your friends and your well-behaved dogs. We'll gather afterward at the picnic tables near the water fountain for coffee and baked goods.
