San Francisco Living Wage Coalition Presents:
Spring Art and Literature Gala
Redstone Labor Temple
2940 16th Street San Francisco, Ca 94103
May 5th - 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“Reclaiming Cinco de Mayo” from its
corporate commercialization as “Drinko de Mayo.”
Donation: $15
This is an opportunity for people to see and purchase independent art while promoting a more just economy! The funds raised through the auction go to the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition and a sister organization in Ciudad Juarez, Las Hormigas, to support our advocacy work for social and economic justice. This art and literature auction provides an opportunity for established and emerging artists, poets and writers to lend support to the Living Wage Coalition in its struggles to ensure that low-wage workers’ voices are heard in the policy discussions on wages, benefits, job creation and training.
