Cody Lee Sutherlin is one of 5 anti-racist activists who took part in emphatically stopping a meeting of white supremacists at a restaurant in Tinley Park, IL. He is now getting out after spending over 2 years in an Illinois state prison. Help us secure a release fund for Cody Lee Sutherlin.
In May of 2012 five anti fascists were arrested and later that year
convicted of taking part in emphatically, stopping a meeting of white
supremacists at a restaurant in Tinley Park, which is a Chicago suburb.

Cody Lee Sutherlin is one of those 5 and is due to be released from
prison by the beginning of June. So , Bloomington ABC , NYC ABC , and
Sacramento Prisoner Support have launched a campaign to start a release fund for
Cody Lee.
By the time Cody Lee is released he'll have been locked up for just over
two years, will have a felony on is record, and certain things just
won't be the same. Lets help him make a smooth transition! Lets raise
some money, and secure a release fund that will welcome him upon his release.

All should be aware that the Tilney Park 5 have been on the Partisan Defense Committee (PDC) stipend of $50 per month since they were placed in prison. "The PDC is a class-struggle, non-sectarian legal and social defense organization which cahmpions cases and causes in the interest of the whole of the working people. This purpose is in accordance with the political views of the Spartacist League. Our heritage is the working-class defense policies of the International Labor Defense (ILD), under its founder and first secretary from 1925-1928, James P. Cannon. The PDC was initiated by the Spartacist League in 1974, and stands on the record of principled defense work conducted by the Spartacist League.
"The PDC is partisan: we stand unconditionally on the side of working people and their allies in struggle against their exploiters and oppressors. We place all our faith in the power of the masses and no faith whatever in the "justice" of the courts.
