UCSC 20 Becomes the UCSC 22

Two more students were arrested by police at UC Santa Cruz on April 3 during the Graduate Student Workers strike. 22 Students in total were arrested while trying to maintain a picket line across the west entrance of campus over the course of the two day strike held April 2-3. The arrests on April 3 occurred as police in the street ordered demonstrators to keep a space open for traffic to pass through. [Top video: arrests]

Some of the 20 students who were arrested on April 2 during the strike returned to the west entrance of campus, the location of their arrest, to speak on April 3.
