*Pop Up Museum this Saturday noon-2pm at the Hub, 703 Pacific Ave - a collaboration between the MAH and the Hub community (The Bike Church, SubRosa, The Fábrica, The Computer Kitchen, and People Power).*
A Pop Up Museum means a temporary show created by YOU. We set up a theme and a space; your job is to bring things you've made to display at this temporary museum.
The theme of this event is DIT, or Do It Together:
At the Hub for Sustainable Living, we like to do it together. Sure, we love to make stuff, and especially to make new stuff out of old stuff, but the way that we do this is by working together. The Hub and the Museum of Art and History would like to invite you to show off how you reclaim materials by doing things together, in an exhibition of art and crafts.
So don't be shy, please bring your DIT creations. Or just come to see what others have to offer. You can also explore the Hub's own use of salvaged and scavenged items in the development of our physical spaces.
