March 15th has been designated as International Day Against Police Brutality since 1997, as an initiative by radical groups in Montréal and Sweden.

Police brutality is nothing new to Oakland, and for the second year in a row we will observe the International Day Against Police Brutality with a demonstration beginning at Arroyo Park in east Oakland. A rally will start at noon, followed by a march starting at 1pm.

March Against Police Repression in West Oakland!

City politicians plan to bring a federally-integrated surveillance center to Oakland, called the Domain Awareness Center. The soon-to-be implemented DAC aims to watch the entire city. This comes after a year of FBI-led raids on housing projects and more in west Oakland.

remember ,police are part of society . people who go to work doing those deeds. its your fellow americans that are agreeing to injure other ''fellow americans''. these freaks are part of your country. why is some of the public willing to go to a ''job'' that inflicts harm on the rest of the public? seems like a built in uncivil war going on while you decide how much ''honey sugar low fat milk cocoa powder ''in your starbucks and sip it then add a little more sugar,then...all that attention to coffee drink while police state shackles people based on race.
