This is an annual event where we give recognition to those who show the spirit, dedication, and principles in the heritage of the American Revolutionary writings of Thomas Paine, author of Common Sense, The Rights of Man, and much else. Paine's Common Sense crystallized the sentiments of the American public that sparked the struggle against monarchy and for independence. There will music, readings, and the award presentations. Awardees this year include Peter Dale Scott, Chelsea Manning, and others TBA.
