This is the same lying thug who, while sitting on the KPFA Local Station Board, literally threatened listeners who attended meetings and spoke up against the theft of listener money. Dan Siegel is the lying thug who brought the police to Oakland schools. He is a proud member of the Hate Pacifica Gang. Is he going to resign from his seat on the LSB and Pacifica National Board to run for political office? We all can hardly wait to see the endorsements of this Democrat. We can be sure the labor lieutenants of capitalism will be endorsers. There is nothing "progressive" about any Democrat, and Dan Siegel is the epitome of reactionary.

I couldn't vote in a Oaktown election anyway but i couldn't vote for Siegel even if i did live there.
Unless there was one helluva apology for some past misdeeds.
I have heard that he is allied with the' Progressive Democratic'' Anti -Independent Left faction at KPFA .
Is he still and does he applogize for his role in their antics over years ?
I know that he and his firm have defended many victims of Police brutality . Good .
But wasn't he a Deputy City Attorney in San Fran in the 90's ? In that role according to the Examiner he defended cops accused of brutality including the notorious raid at the bar ''Lord Jim's '' ?
Last but not least How is he registered these days ? I think the victory of Sawant the Socialist Alternative candidate for Seattle City council shows OPen Reds can win races .
A lot of questions .

KPFA? Informative at times, yes. A long-time voice for many on The Left that are ignored on corporate radio, yes. But KPFA has NEVER been the focal point or an instigator of radical change in the Bay Area. It's always been against their rules for hosts to advocate for direct action. It's more of a feel-good, self-righteous forum for aging Berkeley liberals and hippies.

You people need to get a life and step outside sometimes.
