Documentary Screening: "Gasland Part II"

The Second Saturday Documentary Series presents “Gasland Part II” on December 14, at 1:30 p.m. at Niles Discovery Church, 255 H St., Fremont. The screening will be followed by a discussion. In his explosive follow-up to his Oscar®-nominated film “Gasland,” filmmaker Josh Fox uses his trademark dark humor to take a deeper, broader look at the dangers of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking. “Gasland Part II” shows how the stakes have been raised on all sides in one of the most important environmental issues facing our nation today – and how fracking is contaminating our democracy, too.
