Transit Strike Ends
Multiple sources are reporting that the second Bay Area Transit Strike has ended.
From the New York Times:
"The announcement came just after 10 p.m., more than four hours later than originally promised, adhering to a ritual of late-night suspense that had become familiar in the days before the strike, when many Bay Area residents stayed up night after night to find out if trains would run the next morning."
Lt. Governor, former San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom said, "This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for.”
He added, "“But if there’s any lesson to learn, it’s that this can never happen again.”
