We performed our sixth highly successful Armenian concert event for the Freight & Salvage Concert Hall in Berkeley, CA on February 23, 2013. The “Chookasian Armenian Concert Ensemble’s” was the 1st Place Winner of the “2010 International Armenian Grammy Awards” Celebration; that was held at the world-famous 7,000 seat Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Our live concert CD was selected from thousands of CD submissions from around the world. Former Mayor Willie Lewis Brown, Jr. presented the Chookasian Armenian Concert Ensemble with a “Certificate of Honor’ from the City & County of San Francisco. We are also Armenia’s ‘National Gold Medal Award’ Winners; The award was presented to us from the President of Armenia, Mr. Robert Kocharian, after our one-month concert and festival tour of Armenia.
