Voting and Womens’ Rights Under Attack
How Can We Fight Back?
Friday, September 13, 7pm
2969 Mission St., San Francisco
Federal and state governments and the courts are attacking voting rights and women’s rights that were won through hard struggle in the 1960s and 70s. The president and Pentagon declare they have the right to spy on all of us, all the time. At the same time, they seek to deny us the right to know what they are doing, going so far as to sentence Bradley Manning to an outrageous 35 years in prison for exposing U.S. war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan.
How can the government’s attack on people’s rights be fought and defeated?
Also hear an update on the U.S. drive to go to war with Syria.
