CAN WE SAVE OUR CITY COLLEGE?
Join us for an open discussion on this important issue!
The Accrediting Commission for Community Colleges plans to terminate CCSF's accreditation effective July 31, 2014. The CA Community Colleges Board of Governors has installed a special trustee to oversee the college, and its elected Board has been stripped of power.
Apart from registering for fall calsses--an important way to keep the College's revenue stream from drying up- What can anyone do?
Speakers: TIM REDMOND, former SF Bay Guardian Executive Director and Publisher, has covered the evolving situation; and RAFAEL MANDELMAN is a member of the CCSF Board of Trustees who has publicly condemned the decision of the Commission's revocation of CCSF's operating license.
This is a FREE public forum sponsored by Progressive Democrats of America-San Francisco and Unitarian Universalists for Peace-San Francisco
Wheelchair accessible - Crumpets and tea served
