SATURDAY, AUGUST 24th, 4-7 PM, NATURAL BRIDGES FARM WITH CHEFS JENNY BREWER AND MARISA JOHNSTON.
The Homeless Garden Project will hold a benefit farm dinner at their Natural Bridges Farm on the westside of Santa Cruz on Saturday, AUGUST 24th from 4-7 PM. The dinner is the third farm dinner that the Project offers this summer in its SUSTAIN dinner series. The dinners focus on sustainability, and feature local food prepared by exceptional chefs. Chefs Jenny Brewer and Marisa Johnston prepare August’s dinner, featuring organic produce grown at HGP's farm, and wine from Twisted Roots. The evening includes a tour of the Project's 3 acre organic farm and a talk by Chef Jenny Brewer.
The Homeless Garden Project provides job training, transitional employment and community volunteer and education opportunities. The programs take place in a 3-acre organic farm and related enterprises.
