Hannibal Shakur, community member and longtime activist was arrested during demonstrations following the aquittal of George Zimmerman in Downtown Oakland the night of the 16th. Hannibal has been fighting a longtime battle against cancer and it is urgent that we raise the necessary funds to cover his bail of $50,000. ($5000 bond) His health is at stake. Any money received that is over the amount above will be used to support other arrestees.

Anyone know when Hannibal's arraignment is scheduled and if it will be possible to petition the court to reduce his bail at that time?

according to the corporate media, he was charged with felony vandalism for allegedly smashing windows at the Men's Wearhouse near 15th Street and Broadway on Monday night
