Unfinished Business and Our Most Urgent Responsibility:
Banning the Bomb at Livermore Lab and Globally

Each year, to commemorate the anniversaries of the U.S. atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, we hold an event at Livermore National Laboratory, one of the two facilities in the country that designs every U.S. nuclear weapon.

Daniel Ellsberg, Keynote Speaker - Rev. Nobuaki Hanaoka, Hibakusha, survivor of the bombing of Nagasaki - Cecile Pineda - Taiko Drumming - Okinawan music from Wesley Ueunten

We gather to remember these atrocities and demand the abolition of nuclear weapons at the site where new and modified nuclear weapons are being developed. At a time when federal funds for vital social services are being decimated by the budget sequester, we are demanding that money currently spent to maintain and modernize nuclear weapons (over $30 billion a year) be redirected to fund human needs.

This year we will gather at the northwest corner of the Lab on Tuesday, August 6, at 7:00am. We will have amazing speakers, Japanese Taiko drummers, wonderful musicians and more. Immediately following the program, there will be a short procession to the Livermore Lab's West Gate. Those who choose will peacefully risk arrest, while others will provide legal witness and support.

Parking will be marked along Patterson Pass Road at the corner of Vasco Road. Van pick-ups from the Dublin-Pleasanton BART station. Must call to reserve a spot.

Yes, Hiroshima the city where Berkeley was directly involved of dropping a Nuclear Bomb on civilian population and this fake hype about Iran getting the Nuclear bomb. How about our (Berkeley) University of Kaboomkeley which invented the Nuclear bombs as the four horsemen (Seaborg, Lawrance, Teller and Oppenheimer) were all Berkeley residents. The first particle accelerator (ie. Bevatron) was just dragged by our KKKpfa (listener sponsored, kkkorporate controlled) and they (Brian Edwards Tiekert who stole 1.5 million dollars) said nothing about 4700 truck loads of Nuclear Waste going through a Nuclear free city within the last 3 years. The University of California should be shut down not for just Managing the two Nuclear labs of Livermore and Los Alamos but other out of control Frankstein science like Nano which can be linked to the Implosion of the three (not just two who were hit by planes) buildings of the World Trade Center as there was weapons grade Nano-Thermite in the dust which was used to cut the Steel Beams in the Inside Job of 9-11 which can be found only one place Los Alamos, New Mexico. Other Frankenstein science is CAL is a GMO hell hole which has gotten out the bag and we just gave a No vote to Synthetic Biology which is growing Human ears on the backs of Lab rats and the Berkeley voters defeated it in Measure T. We the Tree People renamed CAL at the time of Oak Grove Tree -sit, BSU which means Beyond Satan University because if the Satan is originally at Yale (Skull and Bones, ie. Baby Bush and John Kerry) CAL with 13,000 Native American remains and torturing and killing 68,000 animals a year make Yale embarrassed and Satan scared of the University of Kaboomkeley as Satan would try to make you not realize you are Evil but CAL is above board with their "Evil Doers".
