Date:
Saturday, June 08, 2013
Time:
12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Event Type:
Other
Organizer/Author:
Wayne Hsiung
Location Details:

One of the largest animal killers in the world is sponsoring a huge festival to celebrate the murder of animals. Animals killed for their bodies, they tell us, are treated with "dignity and respect." We will be there to tell a different story, using creative and confrontational tactics to speak from the animal's perspective.

Contact us on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/directactioneverywhere?fref=ts) or at dxe [at] directactioneverywhere.com for more info. We will disclose more details to those who RSVP yes. Note that we will be doing a run-through of the action on Thursday, June 6 at the DxE House in Oakland. While attendance at the run-through is not necessary, we'd love to see you in advance and it would be necessary if you want more of a speaking role in the disruption.

Some of us disrupted a similar event with over 300 people a few months ago. We're getting better at these things :).
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
