The Egyptian revolution has inspired and amazed many, yet unfortunately it has been hijacked! The new regime is clearly following in the footsteps of the old regime.
The basics of our amazing revolution was "Bread, freedom and social justice".
BREAD: So far, the people who own the sovereignty have endured even more hardship. Prices have increased, the country is bankrupt and more people are losing hope in being able to support their families.
FREEDOM: Anyone speaking against the new regime is thrown to jail without trial often still subjected to military trials, the constitution has been written by religious fundamentalists to serve them and oppress the people even more, giving "the president" full and total immunity as well as power in the country.
SOCIAL JUSTICE: The poor are poorer, the ruling class is still stealing the country's resources and taking it into their own pockets. The compensations for the dead and injured are still not given to their families.
It is time that WE THE PEOPLE realize our sovereignty and our worth. Egypt is ours ... ALL of us! Religion, social status and gender are not the deciding factor of our rights, it is the fact that we are honored with the citizenship ... BE PROUD TO BE AN EGYPTIAN! Now get out and show your support to our brothers and sisters in Egypt, show the world that no one can break our will for freedom and democracy! No matter how long it will take, we will seek it until we get it.
