Hundreds of CNA nurses went on on another strike for the 7th time
on November 20, 2012 against the Sutter Alta Bates hospital in
Berkeley and other Sutter operations. Sutter management
and executives are continuing their attack on their benefits and
conditions. The Sutter Health chain is seeking to take away sick
pay benefits and cut benefits that will affect many both nurses
and their patients.

I salute the Alta Bates Medical Center Nurses. It does my heart good the life blood of the Hospital system is finally demanding a just and reasonable retirement, truth, warmth and respect from the Hospital where so many are treated. As I have over 50 years, I listened to the pleas, joined the protest, took pictures and intent to call out perpetrators of hardship and difficulty in contrast to a CEO who basks in the Sun with immensely high pay.
