Please join Esmeralda Rivas, Women’s Crisis Support – Defensa de Mujeres Advocate in creating a family tree art project using the acclaimed A Window Between Worlds (AWBW) Art Program. This art therapy based workshop will empower families to share personal stories by illustrating their journey through the metaphor of a tree. In creating a tree on canvas using acrylic paint and other materials, families will be asked to reflect on where they came from and the kind of future that they envision for themselves.
This workshop is running in conjunction with Rose Sellery’s Passages and in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month
