Why Japan ended up with 54 nuclear power plants after they experienced Hirshima/ Nagasaki? What has been going on in feminists movements in Japan. What has been passed on from Hiroshima/Nagasaki era, to the Chernobyl era, to the present Fukushima era in terms of day-to-day resistance? We invite you to a discussion with Mari Matsumoto, a feminist writer from Tokyo who does advocacy work with people's radiation monitoring projects, and with the Fukushima Plaintiffs against Tepco and all who are responsible for the ongoing Fukushima nuclear accident. What does it mean to experience radioactive-military-industrial-complex? in Tokyo right now? How do we see Fukushima or California nuclear power plants in South from the Bay Area while the Bay Area corporations and institutions endorses radioactive-military-industrial-complex? We're also screening a documentary to introduce how the US introduced nuclear power to Japan after a-bombs in Hiroshima/Nagasaki during the Cold War era.
