The Brower Youth Awards is excited to be hosting an event to commemorate David Brower's Centennial and the 30th anniversary of the Earth Island Institute on Tuesday September 25, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. at the Brower Center in Berkeley, CA.

Please join us for our "Festival of Ideas" which will honor this moment in the organization's history. It will be a tribute to the new generation of social change leaders, and will showcase various new, innovative approaches to environmental and social advocacy and action by featuring the voices of past Brower Youth awardees who will share their current thoughts, ideas, burning questions and/or primary areas of interest.

Doors will open at 6:30 and the program will begin with an opening reception at 7:00 followed by an exciting and interactive hour of presentations by past Brower Youth Award winners including Kyle Thiermann, De'Anthony Jones, Billy Parish, Jessian Choy, and Rachel Barge.

We will close the event with time for mingling, reflection, and community dialogue, in which you will have the opportunity to interact with and follow-up with the presenters, as well as meet one another!

We hope to see you there!
