Come and stand with us in solidarity with the 4,600 Palestinian political prisoners, many of whom are now on a hunger strike.
Akram Rikhawi who had been on hunger strike for 102 days, ended his fast on July 23, in exchange for Israel to release him on January 25, 2013 to return to his home in Gaza. He is in critical condition and has another 6 months in prison!
Come to protest the ongoing brutal occupation of Palestine. We, the U.S. taxpayers, give somewhere between 13 and 15 million dollars each day to Israel and Israel buys weapons such as gunship helicopters and Catepillar bulldozers from the U.S. to use against the Palestinians and against Internationals who stand in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Read the Wikileak's Palestine Papers!
Peace will never be achieved in the Middle East unless there is justice for the Palestinian people and an end to the occupation.
Please call, fax or email the Consul General at the Israeli Consulate and let them know what you think of Israel's terrible ongoing bombings of the people of the Gaza Strip, a brick factory in Gaza was recently bombed by Israel and the people have not been allowed to rebuild after Israel massively bombed Gaza in early 2009 killing more than 1,300 Palestinians, at least 85 percent of them civilians, including 434 children, 104 women, 16 medics, four journalists, five foreigners, and 105 elderly people.
Let them know what you think of the huge Apartheid Wall and the ongoing expansion of settlements in the West Bank and the destruction of Palestinian homes and life. Is this a civilized and democratic people?
Watch the film Tears For Gaza. Ask for it to be shown at a theatre near you.
