The Alameda County Peace and Freedom Party will be hosting a regional discussion meeting in Berkeley on Saturday afternoon, July 28th, to talk about the statewide ballot propositions and what positions the party should take on them at our state convention the following weekend.
Please join us to examine understandings of the measures on the November ballot.
6 blocks west of downtown Berkeley BART. Refreshments will be pot luck, so if you can please bring snacks or drinks to share.

Contact us to leaflet performances of the San Francisco Mime Troupe's performances, which draw comrades more able to care. We will be at those to leaflet on behalf of our local candidates, Mary McIlroy and Gene Ruyle, on August 1st (evening), 2nd (evening), 4th, and 5th, and later in the month on the 23rd (evening), 25th, 26th and 30th (evening).

Our annual picnic is set for Sunday, August 26th, at Wildcat Canyon/Alvarado Park in Richmond. Join us. Call for further location details. It'll be all afternoon.

KPFA members should know that the Alameda County and the State Peace and Freedom Party are opposed to the recall of Tracy Rosenberg from the Local Station Board. Ballots were mailed Thursday, June 28th, so you should have already received yours; please use it to vote "No" before the August 3rd deadline.
