The Transition Movement is comprised of vibrant, grassroots initiatives to build community resilience in the face of rising challenges like peak oil, climate change, resource wars, and economic depression. Transition is growing!
Meet neighbors, discuss your eco and gardening projects, share strategies, enjoy refreshments... because after all you're not alone in wondering how to prepare for the future! Help create practical and emotional resilience within this new group: Transition Foothills, Oakland.
Drop by our first meeting, which will be held at a private home in the Laurel District on Saturday July 21, from 2-5 pm.

We will be screening "In Transition 2.0" -- a new film that documents the emergence and spread of the Transition Movement via stories about ordinary people around the world gathering together to grow their own food, print their own money, and set up their own power stations, among other things!
Added to the calendar on Friday Jul 13th, 2012 8:34 PM
