The Lawrence Berkeley National Lab is working with local mayors, city councils, and a host of business interests to transform the East Bay into a biotech hub, the "Green Corridor." Without public awareness or adequate attention to health and safety issues in this earthquake-prone region, controversial synthetic biology research -- known as "extreme genetic engineering" -- is planned for labs throughout the East Bay.

You have to give to them they have a lot nerve. I'm currently running for mayor in this City which helped dawn in the Nuclear era which if you ask the Japanese thrice (Nagasaki, Hiroshima and Fukashima) victim to this disastrous use of science. We did not escape these mad scientists which had to eventually put a lead roof on the Bevatron (Particle Excellerator) after radiation dosed the City of Berkeley. This same Bevatron recently was demolished without proper remediation and 4700 trucks of Nuclear waste was driving through the streets with no more than a tarp covering the trucks. Strawberry creek has to be running year round so the Tritium levels do not get to high. My campaign opposes any untested (remember Genetically Altered Foods) science and especially done by this unchecked institution like UC Berkeley (Kaboomkeley).
