Large NYC Protest (Anarchist Friendly)

Date:
Thursday, June 28, 2012
Time:
3:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Event Type:
Protest
Organizer/Author:
Occupy All Streets
Location Details:
We will meet at Zuccotti Park at 3PM on June 28th.

I am organizing an Occupy protest in NYC this month. The event will be a 4 day anti-capitalist demonstration in Manhattan starting June 28th and ending July 1st.

The event was inspired by the Blockupy protests in Germany and the student uprising in Quebec. This event will be called Blockupy NYC and our main goal is to start a series of large daily protests in NYC similar to that in Quebec.

We will meet at Zuccotti Park on June 28th at 3PM and will then march to Blockupy Wall Street. This will be the first demonstration.

The third day of Blockupy NYC will be dedicated to anarchist action. There will be a militant FTP march and a black bloc. All protests on this day will be using 'anarchist tactics'.

The protests are still being organized, if you have a suggestion for a protest or for Blockupy NYC, feel free to leave a contact me through email - OccupyAllStreets [at] riseup.net.

RSVP, invite your friends and spread the news: http://www.facebook.com/events/313804038706825/313999838687245/
