High School Student Taranda Jones Murdered (RIP)
High school student Taranda Jones was found shot in the chest in her Emeryville home on Monday. Her boyfriend, DeAngelo Eagleton, 18, is being sought on an arrest warrant for her killing. We speak with her family and friends about the loss. Her sister, Tiffany Jones, remembers Taranda and speaks out against domestic violence. Cesar Cruz, Taranda’s teacher, speaks of the hope and loss. Taranda Jones was a poet, sister, daughter, freedom fighter, and founder of the Making Changes Freedom School in Richmond, CA. She will be missed. Rest In Peace.
