Night of May 4th, 2012: secret solidarity march lowers a banner and starts up a street dance party. Amidst the First Friday art crowds, Oakland rebels mass up and take the street, dropping flyers off the rooftops and temporarily liberating several intersections near West Grand and Telegraph. Passers by get into the spirit and join in, dancing in the streets for hours. OPD was not invited. Strike! Liberate! Occupy! Decolonize!
