Within 3 blocks, participants will meet award winning chefs and owners and savor their local, seasonal food. At Gather Restaurant participants will enjoy appetizers and a presentation by owners Eric Fenster and Ari Derfel, a founding member of Slow Money. At Revival Bar + Kitchen, they will savor a family-style meal while owner Amy Murray talks about the history of the restaurant and their sustainable practices. At Five Restaurant, located in the Hotel Shattuck Plaza, Chef Banks White will engage in a discussion of shopping at local farmers markets while diners enjoy dessert with coffee or tea.
The full Moveable Feast menu includes: organic, locally sourced seasonal pizzas; McFarland Springs trout with tarragon cream, grapefruit gastrique, toasted walnuts and braised chard OR roasted Field to Family farm's chicken with ragout of butter braised spring onion and garlic with goat bacon and grilled asparagus; butterscotch pudding with peanut brittle and tastes of pecan pie, apple cinnamon cake and whoopie pie; wine or beer and coffee or tea. The cost of the event includes food, taxes, gratuities, presentations and networking.
