With Stephen Zunes and members of the Syrian American Council of Northern California Saturday - April 14, 2 - 4:30 pm The San Francisco Public Library 100 Larkin St., at Grove Koret Auditorium, located on the Library's lower level Enter at 30 Grove St., and proceed downstairs The event features a panel discussion regarding the current situation in Syria. Panelists will provide a historical and political context of Syria's role in the region and why resolution is so complex and important. The discussion will include the role of women and sectarianism as well as the international community's response to date including the possibility of outside intervention.
