BUTTERFLY IN EFFECT: BEYOND BINARY explores themes of environment, gender and the space between. All performers self identify somewhere on a Trans, Gender-Queer, Gender-Fluid, or Gender Non-Conforming spectrum with interpretations of environment ranging anywhere from the ...outdoors to religion. Proceeds to go to local LGBTQ youth organizations.

Lil Miss Hot Mess
Since her debut in 2008, Lil Miss Hot Mess has been bedazzling San Francisco audiences with a unique blend of camp, choreography, and radical politics. She has performed at such, um, esteemed venues around San Francisco including Trannyshack, Charlie Horse, Homo A Go Go, Red Hots Burlesque, Werk Hard, Mary Go Round, Hard French, Rally The Troupes, Radar, the Kentucky Fried Woman Show, the National Queer Arts Festival, SOME THING, the local RuPaul’s Drag Race tour, and many more. She has also performed in New York and Los Angeles, and is looking to take her message to the masses in Europe this summer.

Founded in 1984, San Francisco’s Larkin Street Youth Services is an internationally recognized leader providing innovative, effective housing, medical, social and educational services to at-risk homeless and runaway youth ages 12-24 across 25 programs and 15 sites. In partnership with LGBTQ youth, adults and allies, Our Space creates safe and affirming space where LGBTQ youth can socialize, build community, develop leadership skills and access culturally relevant mental health services. Our Space holds the experiences, strengths and needs of youth impacted by poverty, homelessness and the child welfare and juvenile justice systems at its core, and recognizes these youth as fierce and fabulous change-agents in our communities.

Our Space envisions a diverse society where LGBTQ youth are embraced for who they are and supported and celebrated as leaders in their communities. We use holistic approaches to support LGBTQ youth in building a foundation of self-reliance, self-esteem, and self-confidence to promote individual and community based sustainability. At its heart, Our Space envisions a world where LGBTQ youth are empowered to show fierce love for themselves and their communities.

About Pacific Center:
Pacific Center for Human Growth, located in Berkeley California, has served the LGBTQ community of the East Bay since 1973 and is the third-oldest LGBTQ Community Center in the United States. And, as the only LGBTQ-specific mental health clinic in Alameda County, for lowincome and uninsured people, Pacific Center is a critical and unique resource for the health and wellness needs of the local community. Pacific Center offers licensed individual, couples and family mental health services, HIV counseling services, peer-support groups and a vibrant youth leadership program. The organization also
provides LGBTQ sensitive training for 15-18 graduate-level therapists every year. The organization serves around 1,500 individuals every year and operates with six paid staff members, a volunteer working board of directors, over forty volunteer therapists and licensed
trainers, and thirty community volunteers who provide a wide variety of outreach and administrative support.
