Iain Boal will discuss the book about communalism in the 60s and 70s that he co-edited, "West of Eden: Communes and Utopia in Northern California" (PM Press, March 2012). Boal is an Irish social historian of science, technics and the commons associated with the Retort group. A group discussion will end his talk. "West of Eden" will be available for sale.
