The Peace and Freedom Party is sponsoring a debate with four Third Party Presidential Candidates on Saturday, April 14, 7 PM, at the New Resource Center for Nonviolence, 612 Ocean Street, Santa Cruz. Participants will be 
Stewart Alexander, nominee of the Socialist Party USA; 
Ross "Rocky" Anderson, nominee of the Justice Party
; Stephen Durham, nominee of the Freedom Socialist Party; and 
Peta Lindsay, nominee of the Party for Socialism and Liberation. There will be time for questions and discussion with the four candidates. The event is free. Donations will be accepted.

Ross Anderson, the Justice Party candidate, will meet interested citizens at the corner of Cooper and Front Streets in down town Santa Cruz at 5:30 PM, Saturday April 14, before the event.

ABOUT ROCKY:
As mayor of Salt Lake City, Anderson rose to nationwide prominence as
a champion of several national and international causes, including
climate protection, immigration reform, restorative criminal justice,
GLBT rights, and an end to the "war on drugs".

Before and after the invasion by the U.S. of Iraq in 2003, Anderson
was a leading opponent of the invasion and occupation of Iraq and
related human rights abuses. Anderson was the only mayor of a major
U.S. city who advocated for the impeachment of President George W.
Bush, which he did in many venues throughout the United States.
