An Evening of Amateur Short Films by the Students of Mira Loma High School

We've been slowly working towards developing a secondary periodic program which would feature only locally made films, and so this night fits right in with this concept! Recently, the English and Drama departments at Sacramento's Mira Loma High School did a joint project wherein students would script, direct and shoot short films - and now we'll be showing them at MOBS! Please keep in mind that these are youth-made amateur shorts, and we haven't even seen them yet. However, we hope that this project encourages the students to further explore filmmaking and continue to make films!

The evening will be introduced by Ron Cooper, Executive Director of Access Sacramento which is also the organization behind the annual A Place Called Sacramento film festival!
