San Francisco General Hospital SEIU 1021 and AFSCME 3299 workers picketed the hospital to protest the efforts by management and SF Mayor Ed Lee to force more concessions and further privatization and contracting out.

Demand End to Concessions & Privatization
SF general hospital workers who are members of SEIU 1021
and AFSCME 3299 joined the picket line at the hospital on
Wednesday March 21. San Francisco city workers have
taken concessions for over 10 years and many have not
had a raise for 6 years. Workers also talked about the
deskilling of workers and firing them every 6 months and
then rehiring them in a revolving door.
The Mayor Ed Lee and the city is also pushing ahead with
privatization and outsourcing.
