This is the tenth session for a weekly class on A New Economy, which is facilitated by Derek Tennant. This class examines our current economic system and explores alternatives that may augment or replace it in equitable and sustainable ways.

Again spanning two sessions, this concluding topic looks at some of the alternatives already in play or being discussed in media. From gift economies or local currencies to garden swaps and public banks, many alternatives exist. We will examine them in more detail so that we can begin the process of thinking globally, but acting locally.

Note: This class is designed so that if you have not been able to attend all of the sessions, you can still enjoy and participate in the individual sessions.
