People of African descent, Latina/os and Xicana/os, Indigenous, Arab and Asian peoples are the most exploited members of the 99%--our land was stolen, we were enslaved, our culture was destroyed and our peoples murdered.

Join us on International Workers' Day as we demand workers rights for the most marginalized workers!

WE DEMAND:
*liberation from racism
*decriminalization of our communities
*control of our land, labor and resources
*reparations from slavery
*freedom from police brutality

MUSIC! PARADES! ANTI-CAPITALIST CELEBRATION OF UNITY AND STRUGGLE!

**We are asking all Decolonize groups and people of color involved in the 99% movement to organize anti-racist marches and carnavals on May 1st and reclaim this day for migrant workers, low wage workers and no wage workers everywhere!

We are black, brown, yellow, red and white;
Same enemy, same fight,
Workers of the world, unite!

Barack Obama is just as black as Mumia Abu-Jamal but Obama is a millionaire and Mumia is a member of the workingclass.

May 1 is May Day, International Workers' Day, commemorating the struggle for the 8 hour day that began in the US in the 1880s. We always use that day to build unity among the workingclass, regardless of color. Only a united workingclass is capable of carrying out a general strike to put an end to capitalism and establish socialism. Socialism is the only reparations the workingclass can ever achieve.

Black Obama is not giving reparations to the black workingclass, or the white workingclass, or any other workingclass, even though we all deserve it because ALL PROFITS ARE OUR STOLEN WAGES. We, the workingclass, the 80% of us who sell our labor for less than $77,000 a year, usually much less, can only advance as one united class.

What a nifty list of demands. And who's supposed to listen to and be impressed by these demands? What happened to the idea of No Demands, which along with No Negotiations was one of the most inspiring founding watchwords of Occupy Oakland? Now we're back to (identity) politics as usual: whining social democrats who think that the current crop of bureaucrats can provide some relief from the horrors of capitalist exploitation, or who believe that they themselves will make better, wiser bureaucrats. And don't forget to bring your DNA test with you when you apply; reparations will be administered strictly through biological determinism. What a load of horse shit.
