Food Not Bombs Santa Cruz Serves to Live Another Day!!

by Kc
Help end the CRIMINALIZATION OF POVERTY
End the Criminalization of Poverty by serving a meal across the street from the Metro Station on Front St. 4pm every Thursday!

We believe that as humans we are entitled to the basic right to food, housing, education and healthcare. The criminalization of poverty through police harassment and city ordinances is counterproductive towards the effort to help the displaced and poor--who are struggling each day--to get back on their feet.

To further promote equality within Santa Cruz, we will continue to share food in our community, build solidarity with the houseless and other organizations seeking a better future. The City of Santa Cruz is making laws against the houseless at a time when the economy is failing.

Great news, K.C.! Food Not Bombs has been one of the best models for a community "anarchist" formula.
Serve healthy, nourishing FREE FOOD on the street in the very places hungry and disenfranchised people are found, while sharing a message of social activism.

I'll help spread the word.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
