Peace & Social Justice - Big Part of Fresno MLK march

by Mike Rhodes (editor [at] fresnoalliance.com)
About 500 participants marched from Saint John’s Cathedral to the Memorial Auditorium in downtown Fresno today. Peace and Social Justice were major themes with many of the marchers and some speakers. Photo below shows the front of the march.

Did any African-Americans in addition to Mr. Kimber speak at the rally in front of City Hall? Did the Mayor, Lee Brandt or Chief Jerry Dyer speak in honor of MLK, Jr.? Thank you.
Keep up the great work. I love those signs for Big Sue and the ones advocating for the Homeless.
Keep telling truth to power.

Shame on those who march in King's parade but don't heed his words.
