As an old woman approaching 78 I am dismayed when I review your topics not to find any issue that concerns old people like me - how about focussing on social security which helps to keep me alive every day, and in home supportive services and classes for the elderly and retention of senior centers and meals for them - all of these items are being attacked almost daily and Gov Brown's proposed budget is about to slash our services even further and do away with some that will force people into nursing homes - insanity in my view as it will cost the state so much more to put people in nursing homes than to pay for in home supportive services which allows us to stay in our homes - that is everybody's wish!
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
