Description

63 year old combat-injured Vietnam veteran Jerome Loston and his wife Linda are facing foreclosure January 9th by Wells Fargo. Jerome & Linda are meeting with Jim Foley, Regional President for Northern California at 3:00pm to attempt to modify their loan and we are mobilizing to let Wells Fargo know we will not stand for another foreclosed family on the streets.

Jerome was the sole survivor in the 11th Armored Calvary at Blackhorse Basecamp. Following the attack, he laid in a coma for six months. His parents were told that he was dead. He was told he would lose his legs. Against the odds he survived the injuries he sustained in Vietnam. Now he's been targeted by Wells Fargo and a now-illegal “Pick-a-Pay” loan. They are able to pay for a mortgage if given the opportunity to modify their loan.

Join us Wednesday afternoon to make an undeniable statement to Wells Fargo that we stand in solidarity with the Lawson family. They deserve to be treated as humans and not as profit margins.

If you cannot make it on Wednesday, January 4th at 3pm, we encourage you to contact Jim Foley at (510) 446-5194 or jim.w.foley [at] wellsfargo.com. Remind Wells Fargo Bank and Jim Foley how the Veterans and Servicemembers have bravely served our country without hesitation. Tell him that Wells Fargo can do a better job of keeping our Veterans and Servicemembers in their homes.
