Join Uhuru Solidarity Movement on New Year's Day to view the film "Zapatista" by Big Noise Film about the Zapatista Army of National Liberation (Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional, EZLN) is a revolutionary leftist group based in Chiapas, who emerged in the public eye on January 1, 1994.

We will also engage in a discussion reflecting on the political events of 2011 and look ahead to 2012.

We will gather, listen to the Uhuru Radio broadcast, watch "Zapatista" and discuss 2011 in world events, revolutionary politics and the struggle of African and other oppressed peoples for liberation.

We have changed the time of our movie showing so as not to conflict with the Memorial March marking the 3rd anniversary since the brutal police murder of Oscar Grant.

I have written to IndyBay to make this change, but in the meantime, hopefully people will see this comment.
