Reinstate Fired TWU 250 A MTA Muni Operator Cynthia Carter

A speak-out and hearing will be held at the San Francisco Civil Service Commission to demand the reinstatement of TWU 250 A transit operator Cynthia Carter. She was harassed and retaliated against for making complaints about sexual harassment on the job.
Other workers who have been retaliated against on the job for making OSHA health and safety complaints and because of their age will
also be speaking out. The hearing will be on Monday December 19, 2011 at 2:00 PM
at Room 400 at the San Francisco Civil Service Commission at SF
City Hall on Polk and McAllister St.

Cynthia Carter, a TWU 250 A operator at SF MTA-MUNI was sexually
harassed on the job and when she filed a complaint was retaliated
against by the MTA-MUNI management including her termination.
She was also refused documents by the agency management that would have helped her case. She and her supporters attended a
hearing on 12/5/2011 at the San Francisco Civil Service
Commission to appeal her discriminatory firing.
