SF SPEAKOUT FOR THE
BILL OF RIGHTS
THURSDAY, DEC 15, NOON, 101 MARKET ST with OPEN MIC, MUSIC, AND YOU!
Congress is about to vote on and send to the President a final version of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), which includes a provision authorizing the U.S. military to indefinitely detain and imprison civilians, including American citizens, without charge or trial, anywhere in the world, including in the US! This is in violation of the 5th and 6th Amendments to the US Constitution and puts our civil liberties and lives in jeopardy!
Learn more, stand up and speak out to tell Congress to vote “no” on NDAA, and if it passes, tell President Obama to VETO it!
Organized by the SF 99% Coalition and other groups in cooperation with the Bill of Rights Defense Committee (http://bordc.org/ndaa/)
This Thursday in San Francisco, let’s shine a light on this threat to our civil liberties and help protect our valuable heritage, our Bill of Rights!
