SF supports the Electrical Workers Union in Mexico
The Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas continues its two-year old struggle against the anti-labor Calderon regime in Mexico. The government of Felipe Calderon locked out 44,000 members of the SME in a move to privatize the public power company Luz y Fuerza. Our protest in San Francisco was to demonstrate our solidarity with SME's megamarcha from the Angel de la Independencia to the Zocalo on Wednesday, November 23. The demands are: Work, Liberty for Political Prisioners and Full Compliance with the agreement between SME and the Federal and D.F. representatives.
